8bit-DudeKeymasterThanks Phil!
By the way, what time of screen to you use, LCD or CRT?
I am using a modified XLPaint mode in Slicks, which works better with LCDs.January 7, 2018 at 12:10 pm #278

Sadly the 1541ultimate’s Ethernet Port is not RR-Net Compatible.
Gideon advertised it initially, but never got round to implementing it.
Maybe if you remind him…January 7, 2018 at 1:42 pm #282
SDG1ParticipantNTSC C64 + 64NIC+ (RR-Net Compatible). I also have an NTSC C128 and NTSC SX64. In addition, I have a PAL C64 and PAL C128. I use Sony PVM CRT monitors most of the time but I also have some Commodore CRT monitors. 🙂
Looks like a great game!

8bit-DudeKeymasterGood to see this first wave of testers!
I plan to host the first round of testing on Sunday 14/01, morning time for Europe.
I will send you guyz a copy of the game in advance.Note: CRTs are good for C64, the problem is only for Atari as I use an interlaced graphics mode.

PhilModeratorAnthony, why don’t you use display list interrupts to have more than 5 colors on Atari?
Some sprites flicker is ok but an interlaced screen hurts eyes..January 9, 2018 at 12:41 am #286

Using DLIs means tons of work on each map, which unfortunately I do not have, as well as game slow down. I have opted for a modified version of XLPaint, by flickering the whole screen between 2 palettes (RGB and BW).
This works well in Altirra (Frame Blending) and on LCD screens (Flicker barely noticeable).
For CRT screens, it is really bad, so I have added an option to disable flicker and just display the BW palette. You can see some examples attached below.
